Here's a bit that's fits right up there with opening of consiousness.
This man can "see" without using his eyes. I've heard of this phenomenon before.
I even remember it being discussed in the Seth Material.

I've had this happen from time to time, and it's weird, for sure. It's exactly like seeing with my eyes open, except they're not. I assume it's my astral sight. I don't recall Seth talking about this phenomenon. Do you remember in what book?

What an exciting experience. I would assume the same, that it was information from my larger being. But it must have been a fascinating experience, I would love to hear more about it.
I remember Seth's point as something like: All parts of our bodies are aware. Saying that if we chose to focus on it, we could (I'm paraphrasing, from my memory here:) 'see with our arm, or smell with our ears'.
I believe it was in response to a letter or request from a session visitor regarding health matters.
Unfortunately, I haven't remembered which book yet (they all tend to blur into one for me, ya know? :-), however I WILL run across it, and post the reference when I do.
