A spoonful of sugar?

Like allot of people, I love science fiction action movies. One reason I love them is for their "edutainment" value.

When done well, they can subliminally "tempt" peoples minds to open, without the viewer even realizing it. It's one of the few media genres that make it "fun" to explore new concepts.

Consider movies like The Matrix and Star Wars, and how many concepts and supporting language they've introduced to the culture.

There are allot of people who would not be so familiar with concepts like a "FORCE that binds the universe together", or the idea of a reality that is an illusion, with our larger selves being part of some completely different "Matrix" of consciousness.

On top of providing these ideas in candy coated form to the masses, these modern popular literary exploits also provided whole descriptive vocabularies that are refreshingly void of religious reference.

I ran across "PUSH" recently, movie buffs have apparently been aware of it for sometime, its a kind of psychic thriller. Here's the "PUSH" movie official site.

I am always happy to see the subject matter covered by mainstream media, (and hope it won't fill our heads with negative connotations of psychic abilities.)

I have no idea if this will be a good picture or not. But at least the trailer is a good romp.
