CNN's double edge

So, finally a mainstream news org has picked up the story, of all the UFO sightings in UK. But, of course they have to marry it with "alien aircraft".

You know my rant on this.

Funny (and sad) how its the "objective" news media themselves that takes the step from "unknown" to "alien".

Well at least its generating some buzz.

More strange UK lights.

I post about UFOs because I think that media coverage and mass sightings are opportunities for people to push the edges of their assumptions about reality.

This past week has been really strong in that respect.

Like art designed to evoke a feeling, perhaps these displays serve groups of people seeking a non threatening, yet "unexplainable" event, to force themselves to reexamine their assumptions about reality.

Regardless of what they think those lights in the sky were, the experience made them think and question.

New Year's New UFO's

Well this year's starting off with an interesting spate of UFO sightings in the UK, while there was this one on New Years Day in Sawbridgeworth, It was Saturday night that apparently lit up the sky.

Sightings in Oxford, also in Ifield, and that same night in Louth, something even damaged a wind turbine! (image via: Louth Leader)

Something tells me it's significant that at the same time over in Ireland., they were busy experiencing their own variety of unexplained phenomena.

UPDATE: Video and more witnesses for New Year's day UFO
